(May 2022)
Way of the Wild has been fully drafted and has received commentary from my Alpha readers. Revisions begin this month with the intention of full revisions to be completed by June.
Beta readers will then begin work by end of July or early August.
Project Update
(January 2022)
Drafting for Way of the Wild, book two of the Into the Wild series, is underway alongside alpha reading.
The intention is to have the full draft finished by March and begin revising the story from the alpha’s commentary soon after.
Main goal: get it to betas by August.

(20th November 2021)
Home to the Wild has undergone and finished it’s second round of beta-reading and, from the brilliant commentary, will be being revised soon.
Cover art has been finalised for this book and will be revealed in early 2022 alongside the pre-order announcement.
I have also hired an editor, Carly Catt, who will be starting in early January.
First Draft and Art Commission
The month of November I have been taking part in NaNoWriMo, aiming to hit 50k words in a single month, alongside working with a fantastic illustrator to bring my main characters, Artemis and Jamie, to life.
For NaNo, as a Rebel author, I have used this time to finish up and continue working on Home to the Wild for this month of writing. Nearing 25k words, with 50k and the final draft of the novel being complete, I am very excited to get to the point of having a first full draft.
The art piece to the left, this was created by the fantastic Arthur Bowling, and is the final design for Artemis. The main character for all three Into the Wild books.

Project Update
(August 18th 2020)
The first draft of Home to the Wild has just reached its inciting incident and around 20k words so far. Unfortunately, my progression at current has been slow going due to my commitments to my full time job, YouTube, and my podcast - but I am spending a designated time of three hours a night to bosh out this first draft.
My current aim is to reach the midpoint by the end of August. I have every main plot point set up and in order, with those in between laid out at a basic level making it easier for me to stay on track with the story. For anyone who uses a detailed plotting system, I do recommend checking out Campfire Pro for a easy to use interface at a good price that helps lay out near every detail of your narrative.
